BEST Robotics

WESTA-sponsored Chap Robotics has a long history of success in BEST Robotics. Chap Robotics begin competing in BEST in 2007. The last year the high school fielded a BEST team was in 2011. Beginning in 2012, team focus was shifted to the two middle school in the Eanes ISD, Hill Country Middle School and West Ridge Middle School. Both middle school teams were led by committed, interested teachers at those schools. Technical mentoring was provided by experienced high school students from Chap Robotics FIRST Robotics Competition® (FRC®) Team 2468, “Team Appreciate.” Additional coaching, particularly during competition, was provided by Chap Robotics head coach, Norman Morgan.
