Overview of Programs

About our programs

Our initial, primary focus is the support of competition robotics programs in the Eanes Independent School District (Austin, TX). This progression of programs encourages ongoing skill development and involvement in science, technology, engineering, and manufacturing (STEM) disciplines. Participating students meet new, more complex challenges at each level. Moreover, they gain not only technical skills, but many of the soft skills employers often state as missing from new hires; e.g., collaboration, listening, time and project management, public speaking and presentation, problem solving.

Middle-School Robotics Teams

Our middle school BEST Robotics teams participated in 2012 and 2013 BEST Robotics competition. Both teams were mentored by members of our high school FRC team. These teams were amazingly successful. Thanks to the success of the rookie season for these two teams, both Eanes ISD middle schools now also offer a robotics class, in addition to the extra-curricular robotics teams.
